Prices The prices listed on our web site supersede all other price lists and are subject to change without notice. Prices listed are exclusive of VAT. Estimates supplied by Panda Press (Stone) Ltd ‘The Printer’ are based on current costs of production ‘The Printer’ will endeavour to limit its prices to any which it has estimated but reserves the right to vary such prices to meet any rise and fall in ‘The Printers’ cost of production. Unless otherwise agreed estimates are valid for 30 days from the estimate date.
Tax VAT is zero rated for books and magazines subject to content Stationery items including diaries and calendars etc. are subject to VAT at the standard rate. Courier / Delivery charges are subject to VAT at the standard rate.
Electronic Files It is the customers’ responsibility to maintain a copy of any original electronic files submitted for printing and binding. We and ‘The Printer’ accept no liability for loss of data or the accuracy of supplied origination from electronic file unless otherwise agreed in writing.
ALWAYS KEEP A COPY OF YOUR FILES
Proofs Proof copies are submitted to ‘The Customer’ for approval, ‘The Printer’ shall incur no liability for any errors which have not been brought to the attention of 'The Printer' by ‘The Customer’ in proofs so submitted. Customers’ alterations and additional proof copies necessitated after approval by ‘The Customer’ shall incur additional charges. Colour proofs; due to differences in paper, inks and equipment used between colour proofing and production runs, a reasonable variation in colour between colour proofs and the completed job will be deemed acceptable unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery Unless otherwise specified the price quoted on our estimate is inclusive of delivery to one UK mainland address, additional charges will be payable by ‘The Customer’ for additional and non UK mainland carriage charges. Should expedited delivery be agreed with ‘The Customer’ an extra charge may be applicable to cover any additional costs.
Damage in Transit Where delivery to ‘The Customer’ is arranged by ‘The Printer’ damage to or partial loss of goods during transit must be reported in writing to ‘The Printer’ within three days of delivery. Advice of non-delivery must be given in writing within twenty eight days of dispatch of goods. We ‘The Printer’ shall not be liable in respect of any claim relating to such matters unless the aforementioned requirements have been complied with.
Copyright & Content By submitting material to ‘The Printer’ you represent and warrant at all times during the term of this agreement that the content of material submitted: 1. Is owned by you ‘The Customer’ or, to the extent owned by someone else, that you have permission to provide the content to ‘The Printer’ for printing and binding. 2. The content does not contain any personal data about any other individual other than you, or that you have their permission to provide such content to ‘The Printer’ for printing and binding. 3. Does not violate any copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of any third party. 4. Does not invade any individual’s right of privacy or publicity. 5. Does not contain material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, pornographic, indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, harmful, inflammatory or abusive. 6. Does not break the law, facilitate breaking the law or violate any regulation as set out by ‘The Printer’. ‘The Printer’ reserves the right to refuse work submitted by ‘The Customer’ for printing and binding at its discretion if deemed that ‘The Customer’ is in violation of the terms and conditions listed.
ISBN Self Publishing Direct.com or ‘The Printer’ are unable to issue ISBN numbers they are available to purchase from Nielsen Book Data where the minimum order is for ten ISBNs, see our web site for further information www.selfpublishingdirect.com ‘ISBN Information’.
Legal Deposit This term applies to the act of depositing up to six copies of published material into designated ‘Legal Deposit Libraries’. Publishers and distributors in the UK & Ireland have a legal obligation to deposit such material (Legal Deposit Libraries Act 2003). It is the ‘The Customers’ responsibility to deposit such material, ‘The Printer’ shall not be liable for any such deposits to UK & Ireland Legal Deposit Libraries unless otherwise agreed in writing. Performance ‘The Printer’ warrants that the work and materials supplied by it shall at the time of delivery be reasonably fit for their purpose (to the extent that such purpose has been made known to ‘The Printer’ and agreed). If any work or materials do not conform to this warranty ‘The Printer’ will at its option take such steps as ‘the Printer’ deems necessary to bring the work and materials into a state where they are free from such defects or refund the appropriate part of the purchase price. Provided that the liability of ‘The Printer’ shall in no event exceed the total price paid to it by ‘The Customer’, and performance of either of the above options shall constitute an entire discharge of ‘The Printers’ liability under this warranty. The foregoing warranty is conditional upon the following; (a) ‘The Customer’ giving written notice to ‘The Printer’ of the alleged defects in the goods which incorporate ‘The Printers’ work and/or materials such notice to be received by ‘The Printer’ within twenty eight days of delivery of the goods. (b) ‘The Customer’ affording ‘The Printer’ a reasonable opportunity to inspect the goods and, if so requested by ‘The Printer’, returning the allegedly defective goods to ‘The Printers’ works for inspection to take place. The foregoing warranty shall not apply to the extent that proofs or samples have been submitted for ‘The Customers’ approval and the defects are the same as those which appeared in proofs or samples approved by ‘The Customer’.

Booksellers Direct Acceptance of material for print purposes does not guarantee acceptance of material for inclusion in our ‘Booksellers Direct Bookstore’. We reserve the right to refuse material offered by third parties for inclusion in our Bookstore subject to content.
